Hello, I hope all is well for everyone. This is an account of the preaching that I did do last night:

At around 6pm I was at the downtown bus area of the city. I sat on a bench waiting, to be able to observe how often the buses came and left and of the coming and leaving crowds. While I was waiting I did watch some mormons walk by and I was reminded about how faithful these lost heretics are to share their false gospel; how much more should I be faithful to share the true gospel of the living God. I then noticed that the buses weren't frequenting much anymore and I saw a crowd gather. I went over to that crowd with fear and trembling.

I went up on my box and started to preach. I was interrupted within the first few minutes by a man who told me that I have no right to be forcing my beliefs on him. I responded something to the extent of saying that I was here to speak the truth and that the people could chose to listen or not to. I continued to expound through the moral Law of God(The Ten Commandments); not in any particular order, to prepare the way for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I was continuing to speak I did notice observers that walked up to join in the crowd and I was thankful that the Lord answered my prayers to bring people to listen. After I had explained the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and the need to repent and believe, I emphasised the Commandments once again. I warned them of hell and told them that there is no other way to salvation except through Jesus Christ. Once I was ready to finish I reminded them to stop putting off repentance and belief, that now is the time of salvation and to greatly consider their eternal salvations and the absolute Truth of the Bible.

After I had finished speaking I went up to the people and gave them gospel tracts; perhaps 10-15 were taken by the people. Some people did respond saying glory to God and God bless you. When I went up to give that heckler a tract, his friend began to tell me how ridiculous it was to preach and how unfair it was and how there is no way for me to know that the Bible is the Truth and so on. I did not get to put many words in response to this fella, but I do believe I was able to respond in love and in what his pride would deem as my child-like foolishness. He told me he was finished and didn't want to talk anymore.

I walked back to the bench where I had first been waiting and tried to give some gospel tracts to the people over there, but they all refused. A young man named Riley came up to me and told me that he was pan handling. I told him I did not have money to give to him, but I did have something else to give. I gave him a gospel tract and we talked for perhaps 20-30 minutes. He was telling me about how he had been kicked out of his house and how he lives in a homeless shelter. He told me that he had repented and believed on the Lord Jesus as well. From the rest of his testimony I did conclude to have high doubts of genuine repentance on his part as he did seem to show a possible desire to "get together with some chick" and for some other reasons. I believe he told me that he was a believer for the sake of pleasing me. I did try to get a contact with him, because I had a great desire to see him working and established in some manner; to follow up on our conversation on eternal things as well. (He did tell me that there was no way to contact him, so perhaps I will see him again when I do preach as he does spend his free time wandering the streets)

Please pray for the hearers of the gospel and the receivers of the gospel tracts. Please pray for Riley as well.

There were about 20-35 people that heard the preaching. I am very thankful that the Lord would have a wretch like me have some part in sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I went asleep feeling well; that I had been doing what I have been called to do.

I felt many fears and I had much trouble organizing my words as I preached and had many difficulties remembering things. I am greatly reminded of how weak and wretched I am of myself and the full need to rely on the Lord to bring the conviction and to open up their blinded eyes and to multiply His Word and etc. I am reminded of the great importance of praying, praying constantly, beforehand, during and after. I have left it up in God's hands; praying and hoping that some of those people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus.

I long for and greatly hope to see a person one day repent and believe during some time of when I am witnessing. Nevertheless I am reminded of Noah, a preacher of righteousness(2 Peter 2:5) I am pretty certain that Noah preached 120 years. The Bible shows that only 7 others beside himself did believe. I can imagine the discouragement and trials Noah would have went through. Noah was a success in God's eyes, because he was faithful to preach the Truth and the same is for those who preach the Truth today, they are a success regardless of the results.(Although they would greatly desire to see "results")

I hope this in some way has been able to encourage, edify, encourage or perhaps convict you. I am praying that it would. God bless.
