Hello all this is the account of the preaching done on Wednesday July 18th, 2007:
After hearing the message preached on Sunday; I felt challenged to preach two days a week instead of one, from now on.
I went down to gore park; and on the way it was raining. I prayed that the rain would stop and the sun would shine, and guess what? By the time I was down there the sun was shining and the rain had stopped!
I brought a new sign with me this time; with one Scripture on each side:
Rev 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
John 14:6
Jesus saith... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
On the John 14:6 side I have a diagram under the Bible verse and some short sentences.
Many people saw the Scripture sign, but it was difficult some of the time when the wind was blowing hard (it makes it very difficult to be able to read the sign, because it's flapping all over the place)
I preached 4 times. There were probably 80-100 people who heard in total and maybe a dozen gospel tracts were taken. The first time I preached a muslim interrupted me.He tried to show me using my own KJV Bible to prove to me that Jesus wasn't God in the flesh. He was a very zealous muslim; please pray for his lost soul; that his blinded eyes would be opened!
After him and I were finished talking; I began to preach again, because a whole new group of people had gathered. Someone was behind me telling me to "be quiet" and to leave and that nobody cares; I just ignored that though and continued on.
When I went to preach again there were men in the crowd who were sarcastically giving "praises" to the Lord. There was one man in the crowd who had been raised a Baptist, but told me he had no assurance of salvation and he desired prayer greatly. Please pray for him; his name is Shane. (He took a tract and a gospel of John/Romans; he is homeless as well)
The final time I preached there was a catholic in the crowd and we both knew each other, but had not seen each other in a LONG time. His expressions seemed to show that he was embarassed for ME. He kept covering his face and so on and so forth. Please pray for his lost soul!
Inbetween the preaching I sat down on a bench. A female (she GREATLY appeared to be a male; shaved head, male clothing) read my sign and said to me "yeah I need Jesus alright." (sarcastically of course) I just looked at her with no response. She then walked into ONCOMING TRAFFIC and a car stopped right in front of her! She began to repeatedly stick up her middle finger at this vehicle, while horns were beeping and people were yelling. Eventually people were able to take her off the road. She then took a garbage can and emptied it onto oncoming traffic; afterwards she left. I am highly suspicious that she has some demons, but nonetheless please pray for her lost soul; that God would have mercy on her!
1 Thess 5:2
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Jesus will come unexpectedly! Are you living like you should be living? I was challenged to become more involved in preaching the gospel. because that is what I ought to be doing.
What if Jesus came today, would you be ashamed by the way you are living?
Your only option is to repent and obey, otherwise be prepared to be ashamed!
Get your priorities straight; do things of eternal value.
Began to preach Jesus by all means possible!
